Two National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Fellows will Join the Holden Research Department

The NSF Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Biology program has funded two postdoctoral fellows who will conduct research at Holden Arboretum. Chelsea Miller will conduct research in the Stuble lab under the funded project “Living collections as common gardens: incorporating spring phenology and biotic interactions into future predictions of spring ephemerals.” Benjamin Lee will conduct research in partnership with the Burke lab under the funded project “How spatial and temporal variation in environment and soil fungal diversity shapes plant phenotypes.” His work will be based at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History with Mason Heberling and in partnership with Sara Kuebbing at the University of Pittsburgh, but will join the Holden Research Department for his mycorrhizal ecology research.
