Madagascar Glasshouse

Costa Rica Glasshouse

Experience the year-round exuberance you can only find in a Central American rain forest. Our towering tropical trees, ever-blooming shrubs, and rich vegetation lend a tropical retreat to your visit.

Hershey Children’s Garden

Help your child disconnect from technology and discover the wonders of nature by searching for frogs and fish, observe a honeybee hive or play within an imaginative treehouse. As they explore plant and animal life, they’ll have a new appreciation for the environment.

Gateway Garden

This 2-acre public plaza is a vibrant oasis full of ornamental trees, shrubs, and hardy perennials. The pronounced seasonal nature offers brilliant bulbs in spring, eye-popping annuals in summer, and showy fall foliage, berries, and bark textures. There’s even a waterfall and small pond.

Perennial Garden

Our ever-changing path indulges your senses with a collage of hues and textures, as well as plenty of take-home inspiration. One day you might spy a group of towering foxtail lilies, and a month later come across a hot pink crape myrtle—so visit often to see it all.

Restorative Garden

Geis Terrace

Rose Garden

Immerse yourself in the alluring sights and scents of roses. We house dozens of varieties, all carefully selected for their ornamental attributes and sweet-smelling fragrances. This garden comes complete with an octagonal pool, brilliant companion plantings, and inviting benches.

Delight your imagination with these beautifully off-kilter plant forms. In every season, living evergreen and deciduous plant sculptures transport you to another world where anything goes—as long as it’s unexpected.

Western Reserve Herb Garden

Explore over 3,500 plants in this formal knot layout. It’s sprinkled with themed sections like a trial and cutting garden, a collection of plants used for dyes, historic roses, culinary needs, and medicinal remedies, just to name a few.

Woodland Garden

Eleanor Squire Library
