Live music and chef stations return to the Geis Terrace

Cleveland is home to a great number of talented musicians and creative performers. Starting in June, the Garden will host fun live events on Thursday evenings from 6-8pm all summer long.  Stop by for a bite to eat, some live music, and stroll our blooming gardens!

June 6 – Xe La Sol (Indie/Folk)

Artgeek & songster, Xe La Sol performs guitar & vocal arrangements of original and antiquated jass ballads with a folkadelic edge. Xela has been playing the Cleveland music scene for over a decade.

June 27Jimmy Mrozek (Pop/Rock/Indie Blend/Covers)

Born and raised just outside Cleveland, Jimmy blends his “laid back” style and “unique voice” to produce songs that are heartfelt and charming. Many have called him a fusion somewhere between Jack Johnson and Jason Mraz.

July 18 – Jazz Shepherds (Jazz)

The Jazz Shepherds are a Cleveland-based contemporary jazz group started by guitarist, Ed Alisauskas. On Saturday, May 25th, Ed suddenly and unexpectedly passed away; he’ll forever be in our hearts. The July 18th concerts will be a tribute to Ed.

This performance will showcase Marty Witczak on piano, Bill Nichols on upright bass, and Ed Michaels on saxophone and flute.

August 1 – Buskin’ Bois (Jazz/Pop Covers)

Wear your dancing shoes for this upbeat performance of your favorite jazz and pop from the prime decades. Help us turn the Terrace into Cleveland’s newest dance floor!

August 22 – Ryann Anderson (Instrumental Guitar)

Ryann draws his style from several musical genres- including jazz, classical and folk- he stands apart with an original sound. His performance is fun and yet soothing, enlightening, and a pure joy to hear. Many have considered his music “ice cream for the ears”.
