Power of Plants or”POP” is an interactive program geared towards children aged 3-12 (grades PK-6) and their adult chaperones. What do people get from plants? Show your smarts or learn something new while helping our presenter talk about some of the great things that people have because of plants!

Program times

General public: Select Tuesdays, 11am-noon, Saturdays, 1-2pm
School groups: Wednesdays, 10-11:30am or 11:15am-12:45pm

Pricing

General public:

no preregistration required
$2 per member child, $4 per non-member child
adults are free with a child ticket (note: adults must stay with and supervise their children)

School groups:

$9 per child
Private session: $400 per session
1 adult chaperone per every 5 children (ages 3 & up) is free; additional adults are $9 each.

Program includes:

25-minute interactive presentation + 5-minute transition period
25-minute hands-on activity stations + 5-minute transition period
Untimed, self-guided exploration of the indoor Glasshouses and Perennial Playspace, plus outdoor gardens (weather permitting)
An indoor lunch space can be purchased as an add-on
