Dissecting Pollination

Discover the wonders of plant pollination. Being unable to move, plants have adapted in many unique ways to ensure pollination takes place – including developing relationships with other living things within their ecosystem.

Explore the reproductive structures of a flower through a guided dissection. Students will also visit the glasshouses and/or outdoor gardens to look for examples of plant/pollinator relationships.

Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions

1.5 hours

Maximum of 55 students per time slot. $9 per student. One adult chaperone required per 10 students (free). One adult per five students admitted free; additional adults are $9.00 per person.
