Holden Forests & Gardens’ Leach Research Station is a hidden gem, seldom open to the public.

Enjoy a self-guided stroll through the splendor of several thousand rhododendrons, azaleas, and other beautiful blooms at these seasonal weekend open houses. The 2024 Weekend Open House dates are Sunday, May 12, and Saturday, May 25.

Terrain: up to 1.0 mile, natural surface, mostly flat, potential mud

Age: Family

TIme-slots: 12 – 1:30 p.m. | 2 – 3:30 p.m. | 4 – 5:30 p.m.

Directions to Leach Research Station will be sent to registrants prior to the program date.

Treat your family to a day of beautiful blooms at Leach Research Station. Each family will receive a special box of treats for mom as part of registration.

May 25 | American Rhododendron Society Open House

Join us for a special day with the American Rhododendron Society. Rhododendron enthusiasts and experts will be on hand to help answer questions as you explore Leach Research Station.
