Enjoy a self-guided journey through the woods. Pick up a brochure at the Corning Visitor Center or at the start of the trail. Stop and relax at Meditation Point along the way.
Things to discover
Buttonbush Bog | There is an abundance of wildlife around Buttonbush Bog. Keep a look out for turtles, tree frogs, and even spring peepers in March!
Eastern Hemlocks (Tsuga canadensis) | A variety of wildlife, such as owls, can be found among the tree canopy in our Eastern Hemlock trees.
Red oak, Quercus rubra | Mature trees like Red and White Oak (Quercus rubra and Quercus alba) as well as Sugar Maples (Acer saccharum) are plentiful along Woodland Trail.
Meditation Point | Take the winding boardwalk to an overlook with a bench that beckons you to sit down and stay awhile. Listen to the rustling of leaves in the wind or use the Guide by Cell prompt to hear a guided meditation. And exhale!
