Power of Plants or “POP” is an interactive program geared towards children aged 3-12 (grades PK-6) and their adult chaperones. What do people get from plants? Show your smarts or learn something new while helping our presenter talk about some of the great things that people have because of plants!

POP-In Programs

Drop-in Power of Plants activity stations open to the general public and included free with admission to Cleveland Botanical Garden. Offered in the summer. Keep an eye on our website and socials to see when these sessions pop up!

Power of Plants at CBG for School Groups

Program availability:

Select Wednesdays in April and May, 10:00-11:00am or 11:15am-12:15pm

Program includes:

25-minute interactive presentation + 5-minute transition period
25-minute hands-on activity stations + 5-minute transition period
Untimed, self-guided exploration of the indoor Glasshouses and Perennial Playspace, plus outdoor gardens (weather permitting), and any special exhibition
An indoor lunch space can be purchased as an add-on

Pricing:

$13 per child (ages 3+)
Private session: $500 per session
1 adult chaperone per every 5 children (ages 3 & up) is free; additional adults are $13 each.
