Explore all the creatures that buzz, crawl, swim, and soar around Holden! Campers will embark on a thrilling journey to explore the diverse and fascinating living things that inhabit our planet. From tiny insects to majestic mammals, every creature has a story to tell. Campers are encouraged to become naturalists, learning to observe, appreciate, and respect the biodiversity around them.

Tiny Trailblazers – Session 1
Ages 4-6
Tiny Trailblazers is a 3-day preschool-aged nature camp where curious minds meet the great outdoors! Campers will participate in activities that use all their senses to touch, smell, and marvel at the natural world. Designed as an introduction to the outdoors, your explorer will foster unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime. Please note, sessions 1 and 2 of Tiny Trailblazers are the same. Please do not register for both sessions.
June 3rd-5th, 9am-noon
$150 per member, $200 per nonmember
Tiny Trailblazers – Session 2
Ages 4-6

Eco-Voyagers
Ages 7-9
Embark on a 5-day global adventure at our Eco-Voyagers camp, designed for kids ages 7-9! Explore the natural wonders of North American forests through Indigenous traditions, uncover Scandinavian mythology while learning about trees, and embrace Aboriginal culture with homemade didgeridoos. From Zen gardens inspired by Japan to creating rain sticks like those in the Amazon, this camp immerses children in nature’s beauty across diverse cultures.
June 9th-13th, 9am-3pm

Forest Fantasy
Ages 7-9
Step into the enchanting world of Forest Fantasy, a magical summer camp for kids ages 7-9! Children will explore the wonders of nature and let their imaginations soar as they create their own unique fantasy realms. From mythical creatures to enchanted forests, campers will learn about the natural world and use their new knowledge to build a fantasy world of their dreams!
June 16th-20th, 9am-3pm

Elements of Nature
Ages 8-10
Discover the wonders of the natural world at Elements of Nature camp, where children ages 8-10 will explore Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire through exciting hands-on activities. Campers will engage in clay creations, build shelters, design wind-powered contraptions, fish in ponds, and even experience the thrill of volcanic eruptions! This immersive camp at the Holden Arboretum promises adventure and learning as we uncover the power of nature’s elements.
June 23rd-27th, 9am-3pm

The Amazing Nature Race
Ages 10-13
Get ready for an action-packed adventure at The Amazing Nature Race summer camp, designed for kids ages 10-13! Campers will compete in thrilling challenges inspired by nature, from solving puzzles and navigating trails to mastering outdoor survival skills. This week-long race will test their teamwork, resilience, and creativity as they explore the wonders of the natural world.
July 7th-11th, 9am-3pm
