Research Interests
I started my current position in May, 2013. As the Field Station Specialist, I assist the Leach Research Station Director in establishing, evaluating, and managing Rhododendron breeding populations and display gardens during the growing season (April through November) at the Arboretum’s 30-acre field site in Madison, Ohio. During the winter months, I work at the Arboretum’s Ellen Corning Long and T. Dixon Long Center for Plant and Environmental Science in Kirtland, assisting in the planning and execution of experiments; including data collection and analysis in the field, greenhouse and laboratory, in addition to extensive record-keeping and database management of plant collections and populations.
