Deutzia ‘Nikko Blush’

This new hybrid from the National Arboretum welcomes spring with a profusion of soft pink blooms. It has a compact, low-growing form perfect for a foundation planting or low hedge. Deciduous green willow-like leaves on arching branches display deep burgundy fall color. Prefers full to part sun and is very adaptable to most soils but prefers humusy, moist, well-drained, loamy soil. Best flowering in full sun. Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system.

Pairs well with Heuchera and Cornus
