Little Naturalists (ages 4-6)
Give your little naturalist an adventure in independence!
In this 3-day, half-day camp, your child will blossom into a budding naturalist as they discover how to observe and understand the world around them. Campers will be introduced to real naturalist tools—like magnifying glasses and binoculars—and learn how to use them with confidence. Through hands-on practice, creative crafts, and immersive play, they’ll explore animals, plants, and the environment in a way that builds curiosity, skills, and a love of nature.

Little Explorers (ages 4-6)
Set your young explorer on a journey of discovery!
In this 3-day, half-day camp, young explorers will learn about the plants and animals that call our gardens home through sensory play, imagination, and creativity. Designed to nurture curiosity and connection, this camp helps children engage with nature, plants, themselves, and one another in a safe, beautiful setting. Through enriching stories, games, and art, your child will build confidence, spark creativity, and experience the garden in a whole new way.

Botany Buddies (ages 7-9)
A week of discovery in our living laboratory!
A 5-day, full day camp of real-world science for curious 7 to 9-year-olds! Campers will keep their own field journals, explore pollination through play, run hands-on experiments, discover the power of wetlands and watersheds, and journey to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History to see how plants—from native species to historic specimens—are studied and preserved.

Plant Pioneers (ages 7-9)
Dig into the wild, wonderful history of plants!
Unearth the leafy tales of plants and their centuries-long partnership with humans at this 5-day, full-day camp for 7 to 9-year-olds! From wild foraging to farming, and herbal remedies to vibrant dyes, it’s a botanical bonanza! Then, hop over to the Western Reserve Historical Society and discover just where these green companions have planted their roots in our history!
July 20-24, 9am-3pm

Natural Artists (ages 7-9)
Let the gardens be their studio!
Nature is full of dazzling beauty! In this 5-day, full-day camp for kids aged 7-9, young artists will channel Mother Nature’s magic to create their own artistic masterpieces. Your child will focus on using natural items and pigments to fill their nature art journals, and create various crafts and art projects like sculptures, prints, stamps, and even a collaborative camp mural. They’ll even embark on a mini adventure to the Cleveland Museum of Art for a splash of inspiration to take with them long after camp is over!

What University Circle Institutions will campers visit during these sessions?
| Campers will travel on foot during camp hours to Cleveland Museum of Natural History, Cleveland Museum of Art, Museum of Contemporary Art, and Western Reserve Historical Society for enrichment opportunities facilitated by our camp staff in the afternoons. |
