Our gardens offer an unbelievably beautiful backdrop and will help create photos you’ll treasure forever. Each setting has its own distinct style that will add a unique spin to your special occasion.

Up to 5 guests One and a half hour photography session. Tuesday-Sunday, 9am-5pm | $150 |
6-10 guests One and a half hour photography session. Tuesday-Sunday, 9am-5pm | $250 |
11-15 guests One and a half hour photography session. Tuesday-Sunday, 9am-5pm | $350 |
16-20 guests* One and a half hour photography session. *Beyond 20 guests, please inquire for pricing. Tuesday-Sunday, 9am-5pm | $450 |

A permit is required for all life event photography. If you are coming to the Holden Arboretum to use the gardens/grounds as a back drop, you need a photography permit.. Permit sales are subject to availability; the number of permits sold for each day is limited. Permits can be purchased in advance through the Arboretum Events Manager at [email protected]. A minimum of three (3) business days is required.to process the permit; a $25 charge is added to last-minute requests of less than three business days. Photography is permitted outside only. Photography is not permitted in any buildings. Photographers are not provided by Holden Arboretum.
Fees for photography are non-refundable unless The Holden Arboretum closes the property due to an emergency.
Here are some other points to keep in mind as you plan your big day:
- We are happy to provide access to the gardens, but we do not provide transportation within the gardens.
- Alcohol is not permitted.
- Photography is permitted outside only. Photography is not permitted in any buildings.
- Fees for photography are non-refundable unless The Holden Arboretum closes the property due to an emergency.
- The use of drones and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is prohibited anywhere above the grounds of The Holden Arboretum. Under special circumstances, permission may be granted for scientific or artistic purposes. Inquiries should be directed to Holden Police Chief Sean O’Neil at least 14 days in advance. - Any unauthorized use of drones within or above The Holden Arboretum property will result in the operator being asked to leave the grounds.
