Capture and take home a bit of summer sunshine when you learn to dye with goldenrod!

Goldenrod is a common plant in northeast Ohio fields and meadows, making it an excellent native plant for natural dye projects. The program will begin with a walk to visit goldenrod growing in our gardens. Then we will prepare the dye bath. While the color processes, we’ll learn about the ecology and cultural significance of goldenrod before practicing a basic dyeing method with pre-mordanted fabric.
