Basic first aid skills get an herbal update with tips from herbalist Leah Wolfe from the Trillium Center.

We’ll start out with a review of the herbal qualities that support healing in first aid situations including a list of herbs commonly used in first aid. Plus get in-depth profiles on five common plants for herbal first aid, a shopping list to build your own herbal first aid kit, and tips on how to organize your first aid kit for safe and efficient use of herbs. To get a jump start on building your own kit, you’ll create two herbal first aid preparations with a pouch to take home.

Leah started the Trillium Center, an educational project for natural arts, in 2013. The Trillium Center offers in-person and online experiences in herbalism, foraging, homesteading, folk arts, and wilderness crafts. She is co-creator of the Ohio Wild Food Fest and teaches throughout the country. She’s been studying and practicing herbalism for more than 20 years.
