Field Trip Scholarships
Holden Forest & Gardens is pleased to offer scholarships for the 2025-26 school year.
Applications for the 2025-26 school year are closed. Please check back in August 2026 for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Scholarships are available to educators whose organizations (public, parochial, or independent) meet the following criteria:
- Public Schools – Northeast Ohio Schools with a 60 percent or higher student population on the free or reduced lunch program.
- Private and Independent School/Organizations – Northeast Ohio schools/organizations with 60 percent or more students on scholarship.
Admission Scholarships cover self-guided admission costs for students and chaperones (1 per 5 students) to visit either the Cleveland Botanical Garden (maximum of 50 students) or Holden Arboretum.
Transportation Scholarships – Transportation Scholarships help cover the costs of buses to Cleveland Botanical Garden or Holden Arboretum. ($175 per bus; maximum of two buses). Recipients of the transportation scholarship are reimbursed after their field trip has occurred and an invoice is submitted.
