HF&G’s current Norweb Fellow, Lydia Jahn, attended the Ecological Society of America (ESA) annual conference this month and presented our research on spring wildflowers in Stebbins Gulch at a poster session. While at the ESA conference, Lydia met with last year’s Norweb Fellow, Sam Harbol, HF&G’s recent Ph.D. graduate, Alexa Wagner, and former HF&G Research Specialist and now Ph.D. student at Northwestern University and Chicago Botanic Garden, Rory Schiafo. Ben Lee, postdoctoral fellow, and Rebecca Swab, Director of Conservation & Community Forestry, also attended the conference. To read more about the research that Lydia presented, see our recent blog post.
