The 19th Annual Gingerbread Competition is just around the corner. Time to start planning your masterpiece! This year’s competition will have openings for around 100 gingerbread house submissions.
Things to discover
Gingerbread | Dozens of unique gingerbread houses will be on display as part of our 18th annual Gingerbread House Competition.
Animals | Enter the Realm of the Winter Spirit to meet new friends like our botanical-inspired polar bears, foxes and penguins.
Trees | Explore over 40 uniquely decorated trees and wreaths from our local garden clubs.
Lights | Seasonal soundscapes and lighting will transport you to a winter wonderland unlike any other.

Yes, advanced tickets are required for both members and nonmembers. Buy tickets here.
How do I get the member discount when buying tickets?

Is there a difference between the day and evening experience?
The day experience tends to be less crowded, which may be favorable for young children and those who need extra time to get around the gardens.
The evening experience is perfect if you want to spend more time exploring the outdoor gardens. Thousands of new lights have expanded our footprint this year. The glasshouses are also especially beautiful with their evening glow.
Will you still have the Gingerbread Competition?
