Do I need to buy tickets in advance?
Yes, advanced tickets are required for both members and nonmembers. Buy tickets here.
How do I get the member discount when buying tickets?
- Navigate to the buy tickets page, and select the day/time you’d like to visit.
- Login to your member account using your credentials.
- Continue the ticket purchasing process, and your member discount should be reflected at the checkout page.

Is there a difference between the day and evening experience?
The day experience tends to be less crowded, which may be favorable for young children and those who need extra time to get around the gardens.
The evening experience is perfect if you want to spend more time exploring the outdoor gardens. Thousands of new lights have expanded our footprint this year. The glasshouses are also especially beautiful with their evening glow.
Will you still have the Gingerbread Competition?
Absolutely! We’re expecting dozens of masterpieces to be on display throughout the run of Frost.
Yes, our newly renovated space in partnership with Spice Catering Co. will be serving up fresh sandwiches, salads, snacks and more.
Are there any special kids activities or play areas?
Families with children should be sure to check out our Perennial Playspace upstairs, Clark Hall, Garden Room and outdoors on our Terrace and in the Hershey Children’s Garden for play areas and opportunities. There will also be guided kids activities including Plant Exploration or Craft on most Wednesdays through Saturdays from 11am – noon and afternoon storytime on Sunday and Tuesdays from 1 – 2pm. And don’t forget about marshmallow roasting on our late nights (Thursdays through Saturdays) from 6 – 8pm on our terrace.
Can I bring my class on a field trip?
Perfect for homeschool groups, scout troops, and single classes of students from Preschool through High School. A self-guided visit to Cleveland Botanical Garden allows you to enjoy FROST attractions at your own pace and structure your visit around what your students are currently learning, as well as adhere to the unique learning style of your class.
There are several parking garages and parking lots a short walk from Frost. For a map, click here. The Garden’s parking garage is located off East Blvd. and Wade Oval Drive. For guests with mobility challenges, you can drive up to the Botanical Garden’s Main Entrance off Wade Oval Dr. and there’s a convenient drop-off zone. The garage has extended hours on late nights through Frost and stays open until 9pm.
