Kalberer Emergent Tower

Only a short walk from Visitors Center

202 steps up to the top.

A view from high above the forest canopy.

I can see Lake Erie on a clear day from the top!

I am going to the tower today, I should wear comfortable shoes!

I should ask if I need noise cancelling headphones or a break!

I must be on my best behavior by following the rules.

I will walk on the right side of the stairs to keep out of people’s way.

I can learn how trees use oxygen while climbing up.

I can use hand sanitizer to stay free from germs!

If I’m tired, I can take a quick rest on a bench.

I made it to the top. This is the height of 3 school buses!

Holden Arboretum staff wear logo shirts and nametags. They can help me!

I wave goodbye to the tower and remember how high up I was!

I should watch my step while going down the stairs.

Knowing what to expect made my trip to the Emergent Tower fun and easy!
