Research Interests

I have field experience in forest restoration work and research experience conducting a meta-analysis on the mechanism behind plant invasions. Both of these areas involve conservation, as learning about the best management practices for both invasions and forest restoration allows landowners to better tailor conservation efforts on their own land. As a result of my research experiences, I have gained an interest in community and forest restoration ecology. Ultimately, I am passionate about conservation and my main career goal is to practice environmental law. I hope to take what I have learned while working at Holden with me to law school and my career beyond.
