Plant Habitats & Adaptations
Virtual
Offered year round
Grades 2-5
$130.00

Learners join our live presenter on a journey that focuses on how plants survive within different habitats and their role as part of an ecosystem. As students are introduced to a variety of plants – some naturally grown in Ohio and some native to other parts of the world – they will explore similarities and differences and the adaptations that help plants to survive within their ecosystems, whether they live in dense rainforests, deserts, or Ohio’s own parks, gardens, woods, or backyards. This program includes a behind-the-scenes look at the Working Glasshouse at the Cleveland Botanical Garden.
Available by special request only during summer – please email us at acarter@holdenfg.org.
