Follow the streambed as it cuts through bedrock dating back millions of years.
Explore the geology and plant communities resulting from this special environment. This rigorous hike requires a good degree of physical fitness. Participants must be able to navigate around downed trees and on slippery rock surfaces. Proper footwear with good traction is imperative and should be appropriate for climbing, walking through mud and high-water conditions. Knee high waterproof boots are strongly suggested when the weather is cold or boots/shoes that can get wet when temperatures are warmer.
No children under 12.
