Join us at beautiful Holden Arboretum to explore and write about the parallels between the natural world and our life experiences.
In this class, participants will observe, photograph, and contemplate the deep nuances and connectedness of nature. Then, drawing inspiration from mindfulness practices, creative writing techniques, and several example texts, participants will use their musings to craft their own nature-inspired works of literature. The program includes individual time for exploration, as well as guided classroom instruction. At the end of the class, participants will have an opportunity to share their work if desired. No previous writing experience necessary.
Please come prepared to walk outdoors and bring a camera, phone or other device for taking photos. All other materials will be provided.
Space is limited and registration is required.
