Learn tips and tricks for taking great winter photographs with your iPhone, point-and-shoot, or SLR camera as you hike the trails of Holden’s Little Mountain Property.
Participants can expect to photograph unique geologic formations as well as the beauty of towering white pines and hemlocks, and a nearly untouched winter landscape on these private trails.
Participants will start their day in a classroom setting where Adams will explain camera techniques specific to winter landscape photography. Afterwards, the group will carpool to the Little Mountain site for the remainder of their program before returning to Holden’s main campus to depart. Limited food is available for purchase in the Corning Visitors Center or guests are welcome to bring a brown bag lunch. Please dress for the weather and be prepared to be outdoors for 3-4 hours. This program is designed for people with a basic understanding of digital photography.
Meet again in a virtual format on Saturday, Feb. 12 from 1-4 PM for a review and critique of your photos as well as to learn tips for photo editing & sharing in PhotoShop/Lightroom.
Space is limited and registration is required.
