Autumn’s colors, textures and patterns are wonderful subjects for your camera sensors.
The natural beauty of the Cleveland Botanical Gardens and its seasonal fall display will be marked with warm hues of yellow, orange and red. In this workshop, participants will review camera settings and techniques used for general autumn and artistic photography. Other topics discussed will include: shooting angles, filters, light, depth of field and intentional camera movement. Participants will spend most of the workshop photographing outdoors with individual guidance from the instructor.
This class will be offered rain or shine. Please come dressed to be outdoors for several hours. Participants are welcome to bring a brown-bag lunch or purchase lunch from the Garden’s café. A camera with interchangeable lenses is the preferred equipment for this workshop. Use of macro and wide-angle lenses will be highlighted although similar images can also be created with other lenses. It is important that participants have a basic knowledge of digital photography and be familiar with the controls and operation of their camera.
