Changing Earth- Investigating Landforms, Weathering, and Erosion

March - February

Grades 4-6

This virtual trip focuses on demonstrating the variety of processes that shape and reshape the earth’s surface. Through live stream interactive lessons, students will learn that landforms constantly develop and change as weathering and erosion forces change rocks and break them down. Students will begin to understand that people may directly affect weathering, erosion, and deposition. Students will also learn how to read a topographic map as they follow the instructor on the hiking trail.
