Help Needed – Flower pressing

We are looking for people who are able to collect flowers and foliage (trimmed to ~ 2″ X 2″) that can be preserved. There is no specific process that people need to follow for this step. Some may want to press flowers with books while others may have a flower press.

In total, we need approximately 600 pieces of finished material.   If you are able to assist with this project, please contact Lynne Robie at  or 440-864-9072 by Monday, May 24.  We’d also like to know how much you anticipate you will be able to contribute.

Pressed flowers can be dropped off on Friday, July 2, or sooner, to either campus.

GLOW 2021 is in the works! Our theme this year is “Hearth and Home for the Holidays: the Botanicals we Use to Celebrate” (note: this is a working theme and the verbiage may be changed). 2021 Glow will feature how botanicals represented as food, plants, florals, and trees contribute to celebrating the holidays through home decor, games, food, toys etc.  In addition to the trees, wreaths, doors and table settings being available to decorate again, the mantels are back in the schema this year. The Affiliates will be able to choose if they want to decorate a tree, a wreath, a 30-36″ wide entrance door, a mantle or a table with centerpieces and table settings.
